Brussell Sprouts are in season and this recipe may just convert you to a lover of the humble sprout. From "Grown"
Serves 6 as a side dish
In a fry pan tip in a glug of olive oil and a knob of butter. Add 3 crushed garlic cloves and 3-4 rashers of bacon chopped. Fry until bacon is crispy. Add brussell sprouts (approx 400g cut into quarters) and a heaped teaspoon of wholegrain mustard, salt & pepper and fry until browned (5 minutes), add 1/2 cup water and cook until water has evaporated and the sprouts are al dente (approx 5 minutes) shaking or stirring occasionally. Enjoy...great with steak.
