We have a small-scale market garden specialising in growing a wide range of quality organic heritage vegetables,
including salad greens, herbs, micro-greens, baby-veges, and seedlings in springtime.
Ashley River Apples
Mark & Annabel own & manage one of the few organic orchards in North Canterbury. They provide the market with
a wide range of traditional older varieties of apples & pears and their families legendary Organic Apple Juice. The apples
include Cox Orange, Royal Gala, NZ Queen, NZ Rose, Braeburns, Golden Kiss, Granny Smith, Ballarat, Pink
Lady. The pears are Buerre Bosc, Packhams Triumph, Doyeen de Commice.

Garden Garlic (seasonal)
We are a small garlic farm near Rangiora with the aim to produce the finest quality not only using sustainable organic farming practices but to enhance the environment.
Our garlic is grown in beds of soil, compost, sheep manure, seaweed & pea straw, watered through gravity fed drip tape. The beds are returned to pasture which is mulched down for worms & micro-organisms to turn the grasses back into castings & to build the soil ready the next rotation & planting in 5 yrs.

grown by us at our Sefton gardens and harvested each week just before the markets for maximum freshness.
Our apples and pears are from our Family Orchard in Nelson.

Exotic Mushrooms
We’ve been growing fresh Shiitake Mushrooms in Templeton since 1998.
Shiitake Mushrooms are very tasty and nutritious but not widely available yet so it’s a pleasure for us to customers at the market and see more people get to know and enjoy fresh one.

Robinson Bay Olives
Award Winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Infused Oils and Table Olives.
Robinson's Bay Extra virgin Olive Oil was judged to be NZ's Best Olive Oil in 2012 & 2013.
Stall is located opposite the main entrance to Riccarton House.

(We are usually on harvesting break from the end of April until Mid July)
Flaxbourne Olive Oil (once a month)
We sell beautiful 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Flaxbourne area of Marlborough. We sell several varieties that all have a unique taste.
Our seasonal product is Hazelnut Pesto made mostly from our own products we grow on our property, including the olive oil, our own hazelnuts, home grown basil, garlic, and good quality Parmesan cheese.
There is no preservatives and we don't use sprays.
We attend every last Saturday of the month.
