    With the best of Canterbury's produce the CFM is the perfect opportunity to meet local growers, bakers, wine makers, brewers, butchers and farmers, sample their products and ask them questions – become informed about what you are buying and support your community.

Waitangi Day Market

Monday 6th February

10am – 2pm

After the success of the Christmas Market Week we are going to combine the Christchurch Farmers Market and the Sunday Artisan Market to celebrate Waitangi Day.

So come and enjoy live music, great coffee, cold Stella Artois on tap, fresh produce, local crafts and much more all held on the stunning grounds of Riccarton House and Bush.

The Farmers' Market will run as normal on Saturday 4th February 9am - 12noon and the Artisan Market on Sunday 5th February 11am - 3pm.

Every Sunday, 11am – 3pm

Riccarton House and Bush Grounds, 16 Kahu Road, Riccarton

Ready to eat food stalls, art and crafts from local artisans, live music and the fully licensed Riccarton House Bistro Beer Garden, all located in the beautiful grounds of Riccarton House and Bush.

Mid Week Farmers Market

Every Wednesday (November to March) 4pm - 7pm

Every Wednesday 4pm - 7pm, the mid week market is on! Held at the Riccarton House & Grounds, 16 Kahu Rd, come on down and enjoy the freshest fruit and vege, baked breads, sweets and much more. Relax with an after work wine or Stella on tap whilst enjoying some live music. Grab a pizza at the Bistro and have the night off cooking!

 

Belgium Beer and Mussel Festival

Saturday 18th February, 2pm - 9pm

Tickets $10 (includes entry fee, entertainment and tasting glass)

Your chance to discover some of Belgium’s best beers served by local beer enthusiasts. Some of the beers on offer include Leffe, Hoogaarden and Stella Artois.

Food on offer throughout the day… smoked mussel platters, mussel and saffron soup, mussel fritters, 1kg steamed mussels, mussel and fish kebabs, mussel fennel and saffron potato’s, mussel paella, lest we forget the humble potato as our chefs will make an array of pommes frites and aioli. READ MORE
