Streamside Organics, founded by Dominique Schacherer and Logan Kerr, was established to provide wholesome, healthy and hearty vegetables grown organically using regenerative farming techniques. Whilst our veges are sold nationwide via wholesale companies, our main purpose is to provide fresh local produce for your consumption, which can be found served up in a number of local restaurants, stocked on the shelves of a variety of New World supermarkets, small organic retailers around Christchurch, and of course, the Christchurch Farmers Market. And for all you busy working folk who value weekend sleep-ins, do not fear. We can provide you with all the green goodness you need to survive the week with our home delivered vege, fruit and bread boxes! Growing organically means no nasty herbicides, pesticides, or chemically produced fertilisers are used in the production of our vegetables. This means we look after our high-quality, nutrient dense soils we are fortunate enough to farm with the utmost care and respect. So, when you buy our vegetables, you are supporting our goal of farming sustainably… and in doing so, helping us do our bit for the planet. Our farm crew staff are all bound by this common value and our passion for growing delicious and nutritious vegetables. Without the reliable hands of the harvest team, we would not be able to provide you with this wide range of vegetables. Being Living Wage Certified, we can ensure that all our staff are happy and well looked after… and we all know jovial pickers mean top notch, high quality delectable vegetables for your consumption! Logan and Dominique have been regular stall holders for over 6 years, (and Logan has been there since it first started 10 years ago!)
